Spud-tacular Style at YetiCon 2025: Potato Cosplay Gathering

This year at YetiCon, our group peeled back the limits of cosplay creativity with a theme that was starchy, silly, and completely unforgettable: Potatoes!

From raw and baked to mashed and metaphysical, our members embraced the theme in the most delightfully absurd ways imaginable. Costumes included a mashed potato volcano, a biblically accurate potato (complete with wings and far too many eyes), sad potatoes, tinfoil-wrapped potatoes, and yes — even custom potato holsters for those who preferred their spuds on the go. Whether you were sprouting puns or just vibing in earthy brown tones, the goal was simple: to spread joy, laughter, and a little tuber-based chaos throughout the convention.

What made this gathering even more special? YetiCon added us to their official programming! We’re incredibly grateful to the YetiCon team for embracing the fun and giving our humble potato parade a platform to shine. The positive reactions from other attendees — and the sheer number of photo ops — made it clear that cosplay doesn’t have to be serious to be meaningful.
