The Ontario Cosplay Collective (OCC) is bringing a full weekend of cosplay creativity, learning, and community to FanExpo Canada! Whether you're brand new to cosplay or a con veteran, you’re invited to connect, create, and celebrate with us through panels, photo ops, and interactive experiences.

Sunday, August 24 • 2:00 PM • Cosplay Red Carpet

Come dressed in full Sanrio cosplay or just add a dash of cuteness — everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level! Join us on the red carpet to show off your look and connect with other fans.

💖 Open to all ages and cosplay styles.

Get a free professional photo in our immersive photo booth during special time slots with Rajeeman Photography, a talented pro capturing con magic all weekend!


🕒 Photo Session Times (Cosplay HQ – Room 203):

  • Thursday — 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

  • Friday — 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

  • Saturday — 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM

  • Sunday — 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Looking to refresh your cosplay stash or pass on supplies you no longer need? Come join the Cosplay & Craft Supply Swap, hosted by OCC member Lurelight!

This community-driven event is all about trading and giving away gently-used cosplay and craft items — no selling, just sharing and supporting fellow creators. Whether you're clearing out your stash or looking for that perfect piece of fabric, you're sure to find some treasures!


✅ Accepted Items Include:

  • Wigs, props, costume pieces, fursuits

  • Beads, fabric, embroidery thread, yarn

  • LEDs, foam, worbla, leather, and more


❌ Not Accepted:

  • Used cosmetics

  • Toys (stuffed or plastic)

  • WHMIS-labeled items (e.g. glues, sprays)

  • Undergarments or explicit items


Please ensure paints are bagged securely and all items follow FanExpo and venue safety guidelines.
