OCC at Pretty Heroes 2025: Panels, Prizes, and Community Power

We had an incredible time at Pretty Heroes 2025, where the Ontario Cosplay Collective took a big step forward by exhibiting with our own booth for the very first time.

From interactive activities to inspiring panel talks, the weekend was filled with creativity, collaboration, and connection. We’re so grateful to have shared it with such an enthusiastic community.

A Booth Full of Fun

At our booth, attendees could take photos in our immersive space, learn about our group, and enter a fantastic raffle. It also served as the home base for ConQuest, our original convention-wide scavenger hunt that encouraged con-goers to explore the event, interact with offerings, and discover new experiences.

Sharing Knowledge and Lifting Each Other Up

OCC members also hosted eight panels throughout the weekend. Topics included makeup techniques, costuming, leather working, and design inspiration. These sessions were packed with valuable insight and honest conversation, all reflecting our mission to support learning and growth at every level of experience.

A Collective Effort

This was our first time exhibiting with a booth, and it was a huge success thanks to the support of both Pretty Heroes and our amazing members. Whether you helped plan, hosted a panel, volunteered at the booth, or just came to cheer us on, thank you. Your energy, generosity, and teamwork made it all possible.
